Hon. Ramona G. See (Ret.) joined ADR Services, Inc. in 2021 after spending over two decades as a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, where she earned a reputation for being an incredibly bright, hardworking jurist with a strong legal mind.


During her judicial tenure, Judge See presided in an Independent Calendar Court for 20 years, handling cases from commencement through discovery, pretrial, and trial in a broad range of civil matters, including business, real estate, employment, personal injury, construction, insurance bad faith, medical and legal malpractice, wrongful foreclosure, fraud/breach of fiduciary duty, and others. She is highly regarded for her intelligence and thorough preparation, supplementing her exceptional depth and breadth of legal knowledge with additional research as needed. Judge See also served as a settlement judge in numerous matters, utilizing her excellent judicial temperament and respect for the parties and counsel alike to help disparate sides come together and reach resolution.


Judge See has been recognized throughout her career for her long-standing commitment and service to the legal community. She has spent significant time teaching programs for the Los Angeles Superior Court Judicial Education Seminars, the Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER), the California Judges Association (CJA), and the American Bar Association (ABA). As Chair of the ABA Judicial Clerkship Program for six years, she worked to introduce law students from diverse backgrounds from around the country to judges and law clerks. Judge See has also been a speaker at legal conferences both locally and internationally, proudly representing the United States through the World Justice Project and the ABA’s Rule of Law Initiative (“ROLI”).


Judge See is available to serve as a mediator, arbitrator, and private judge.

JUDICIAL EXPERIENCE


Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles  2000-2021
Judge See presided in an Independent Calendar Court for 20 years, handling civil cases from commencement through discovery, pretrial, and trial in a broad range of matters, including business, real estate, employment, personal injury, insurance, medical and legal malpractice, and others. Judge See was also actively involved in court leadership, serving as Supervising Judge of the Torrance Courthouse and educating her judicial colleagues by teaching programs for the Los Angeles Superior Court Judicial Education Seminars.

Judge of the Municipal Court of California, County of Los Angeles  1997-2000
Judge See was appointed to the Municipal Court by Former Governor Pete Wilson in 1997, and was later elevated to the Superior Court upon court unification in 2000.



LITIGATION EXPERIENCE 1985-1995

After graduating from Boston College School of Law, Judge See began her career as an Associate at Lewis, D’Amato, Brisbois & Bisgaard, a major national law firm, where her practice focused on advising and representing clients in the areas of products liability, legal and medical malpractice, and corporate work. She then joined Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory, a premier California-based law firm specializing in business, employment, and real estate law.
